These are your announcements for October 6, 2015.

How would you and your friends like to checkout Red Rock National Conservation Area, Hike The Narrows in Zion National Park, Float the Colorado River, Traverse the South Kaibab Trail in the Grand Canyon, or shoot down nature made slides in Slide Rock State Park?
These are just a few of the activities planned for our MMS Grand Canyon Adventure. Our trip will take us to Utah, Nevada, and Arizona over the course of five busy days next summer.

For parents and students who missed the first informational meeting a second meeting has been scheduled on Tuesday October 13, 2015 in the Middleton Middle School Library at 6:00pm.
Let your parents know about this meeting as the deadline to sign up for the trip is fast approaching!

Please invite your parents and friends to come join us as we discuss the exciting details of our trip, answer questions, and start making plans for fundraising! There are already students who have signed up for the trip and we want as many as possible to join them?

Feel free to start exploring the MMS Grand Canyon Trip website at GrandClassrooms.com

Handouts about the trip are available for pickup at the main office and in Mrs.Remington's room #8.

We hope to see YOU and YOUR PARENTS at the meeting on Tuesday October 13th at 6:00pm!

Do you have a family member who is currently serving or has served in our nation's military? Leadership is planning our Veterans Assembly and would like put the names, pictures or stories of those who have served in our video tribute. If you are a staff member or student who would like to honor a Veteran please take that information to Mrs. Sanford in room 6, so we can honor your loved one.

Don’t forget we are still collecting milk cartons at lunch for the Made by Milk competition. We need you to put your empty cartons in the boxes provided in the cafeteria. We could win 5000 dollars and all we need from you, is to drop that carton in  the box!

Picture Retakes will be this Thursday, October 8th.
And now for your sports update:
8th grade girls volleyball will be playing here tomorrow

GOOD LUCK VIKES!
