Parents, are you using Skyward?
Skyward is our student information database. This is where all your child’s grades and attendance information are stored. This site gives you access to what is happening here at school. It is a great way to stay up to date on your child’s progress. Here are some quick tips for using the site.
1. Login, https://skyweb.msd134.org/, If you do not have a username and password, please contact the office to get set-up.
2. Under Guardian’s students, center of the page, click the student you would like to access.
3. The menu on the left allow you many different options. The most important for most are the Calendar, Gradebook, Message Center, Attendance, and Email Notifications.
- Calendar - this gives you an overview of the assignments done in class each day and the grade your child received.
- Gradebook - this allows you to see all assignments, as well as your child’s current grades.
- Message Center - allows you to view any messages the teacher or school has posted.
- Attendance - allows you to view tardies and absences. This is very important as we will be tracking student’s tardies more closely this year.
- Email notifications - allows you to set the notifications you wish to receive. This is our favorite option, as it allows you to receive a notification every time your child has an attendance issue, and also allow you to receive daily, weekly or monthly progress reports. These reports have really cut down on missing work and low grades for many of our students.
Please take the time to log-in to Skyward and set your notifications. By being on top of your child’s assignments, you are helping them to succeed at Middleton Middle School.
Report Cards
Report Cards are posted to Skyward Family Access under "Portfolio". Here you can open or print a PDF of your student's report card. For families unable to print at home, just stop by the office to get a copy printed.
