Dear Parents
As of 2012, the State of Idaho requires all students
entering 7th grade to have additional immunizations-Tdap (tetanus booster) and
MCV (meningococcal vaccine which prevents bacterial meningitis). Since
many of our students have not had the opportunity to have these done, Southwest District Health Dept. has offered
to come to Middleton Middle School and provide a "shot
clinic". This is not only for 7th graders but for those 8th graders
that need updates, or 6th graders who want to have their 7th grade shots now
instead of this summer. They will
not be giving flu shots.
All parent/guardians in the Skyward accounts were emailed this information today. A permission slip and information letter from Southwest District
Health was attached to that email. We look forward to seeing you!
