Exciting news for middle school students.  Ultimate Frisbee is the fastest growing sport in the world and will be featured in the 2024 Olympics.  What if one of you or your classmates were on this team?  Never hurts to dream big and work hard in and off the field.  With this said, we are having our first ever ultimate frisbee team.  Games will start on Feb. 29th and will run for 7 Mondays in a row - not too bad of an intro for the first time.  Sign up sheets are in the office. Sign up sooner than later, first team meeting next week.  Cheers.

Guess what Vikings!? Leadership has decided to create a spirit team! On this team, we will  go to our school's basketball games and support our vikes! Our spirit team will be split up into 3 groups, performers, crowd cheerers, and poster people. The performers will be those who dance during halftime. The crowd cheerers will be those who deck out in spirit clothes, sit in the crowds and cheer . And the poster people will be those who make posters and cheer with them. So if you would like to be part of one of these 3 groups, we will have a meeting this Thursday, on February 25th In the cafeteria, during 8th period.

Now for the VIKES sports update: 7th grade A and B teams  played  games against mtn. home.  B team won 45-11 and A team won 48-26

8th grade A team won 57-15 and B team won 42-20 Way to go VIKES!

Valentine celebration will be tomorrow from 3:30- 5, so plan  to come have fun with your friends.
