September 15 Announcements

Here are your video announcements for September 15, 2015.
To start off the school year, we need to start thinking about box tops for education.  Just look on the boxes of food and different items for a label like this:  Tear off the label and turn it into your 8th period teacher.  Make sure you write your first and last name and grade level.    By doing this, we can earn money for our school. Plus, there is a new type of label.    Look for this label on Tyson products in the frozen food section.   Each of these A+ labels is worth more than ordinary box tops.   Last year, we earned a lot of money for our school.

Tomorrow is the last day if you want to buy a yoyo at lunch.  The Pro-Yo is sold out, but the Fireball and the Light Up Spectrum are still available.

Now, it is time for our Vikes Sports update.
Our 8th grade girls’ A volleyball team won both their games against Syringa with scores of 25-2 and 25-11.
Our 7th grade A team won and the B team lost.  Both teams fought hard battles.
We also had a great cross country meet last night.  Both our Varsity and JV Girls took first place.  Our JV Boys also took first place, and our Varsity boys took 2nd place.  Way to run Vikes!
Head to Syringa Middle School today after school. Our MMS vikings will be competing against the 7th and 8th grade Cougars.
Stay after school on Wednesday and support the 7th grade volleyball team as they play the Emmett Huskies.

Google Classroom and Skyward

New this year!

Parents:  Be sure to get your student's login to access Google Classroom.  The one login gives both students and parents access to classroom information - upcoming assignments, announcements and other classroom information.

Parents still use their Skyward login to access gradebook information - current grades, graded assignment information, and report cards.  Please contact the MMS office (585-3251) if you need your parent Skyward login and password.  Do not let students use your parent password for Skyward - students have their own Skyward student access (also available in the MMS office).

Students need to make sure to get each teacher's access code and "join" every teacher's Google Classroom. All of their classes will then load on one page.
