Let’s continue with our Vikes News Countdown update:
10. Last night, we had our Academic Bowl Championship match at TVCS. We did well in our rounds and we took second place overall. Good job on this season VIKES. 6th and 7th graders, you can be a part of the action and join the MMS Academic Bowl team next year.
9. It is time to swing into summer tennis. There will be a teens summer tennis camp here in Middleton. By participating, you will receive 8 tennis classes for a cost, a free t-shirt, and a free tournament weekend. Please pick up your registration information in the office.
8. Look what we found in the office. Everything in this box and in lost and found boxes will be donated next week. So if you lost something, it is probably in the lost and found.
7. The MMS Band and choir made us proud at their concerts this week. What a great way to end the school year with music.
5. If you want to receive your yearbooks on time with the other students, please turn in all your library books and pay your fines by Thursday, May 14th… by the way that's tomorrow!
4. Due to semester finals, the yearbook distribution date has been changed to next WEDNESDAY, instead of TUESDAY. Of course, if you have fines, you won’t receive your yearbooks until Friday.
3. Remember finals are starting soon. Rest, review, and study to make sure you receive the highest grades possible.
2. We will have the first official 8th grade breakfast tomorrow morning. Congratulations 8th graders as you head to Middleton High School.
1. Get ready for our big extravaganza TOMORROW. It will be a fun day full of activities and events. Everyone is looking forward playing bubble soccer. Avoid getting any discipline referrals today. Make sure you behave appropriately at the extravaganza. It is a privilege - - - not a right.

These are your school announcements for May 11, 2015.
We have a big week ahead of us, but we have started the countdown to the end of the school year. Here are the top ten things to remember for the week:
10. There is no after school study hall for the rest of the school year
9. The MMS Band Concert is TONIGHT and the Choir Concert is TOMORROW NIGHT.
Both concerts will take place at 7 pm at the Middleton High School auditoriums. Enjoy the music and support our MMS music programs.
8. Our leadership class has done so much to support our school this year. TONIGHT, they are presenting about their accomplishments to the Middleton School Board. Wish them luck!

Thank You "Dairy Does Good" Program
The United Dairymen of Idaho and Idaho Dairy Council again supplied the students of MMS with free cheese sticks during ISAT testing. This generous program has been in place the last couple of years, and is very appreciated by MMS students.

Mr. Horning just received his Education Specialist Leadership Superintendent Degree.Mrs.Watkins also graduated this week with her Masters Degree in Administration.

It is almost the end of the school year. Lost and found is out of control! There are large piles in the main lunch room, front foyer of Annex A and in both gym's. Make sure you go and check it out if you are missing a shirt, jacket or shoe. It will be donated SOON!!!!!
We are finding food wrappers and empty drink containers in the hallways and in the classrooms. Please throw away your garbage, or we won’t be allowed any privileges.
It is the last day of teacher appreciation week. Take time today to thank all of your teachers and staff members for all that they do!

These are your school announcements for May 6, 2015.
The Band and Choir Festivals are today and Friday.Next week, the MMS Band Concert is Monday, May 11th, and the Choir Concert is Tuesday, May 12th.
Both concerts will take place at 7 pm at the Middleton High School auditoriums.
Just to let you know, we are received all the titles for the "I Survived" books at the MMS Book Fair. They may even be here now.

Our Track Boys took 5th place at the District League Championships! “What’s wrong with 2nd place? Morrie Schwartz asked in Tuesdays with Morrie.
Well nothing is wrong with 2nd place. In fact, our Girls are now the 2nd place District League Champions.

We are here at the Buy 1, Get 1 Free MMS Spring Book Fair. Stop by the library and get some great summer reads.
When you come to the book fair, please don’t bring in your backpacks or coats. As you can see, don’t have a lot of room in here.
8th graders: If you want to be a class officer next year at MHS, please pick up a petition form in the office. Your petitions MUST be signed and turned in by Weds., May 6th.
Remember, The B and C tennis teams will also be playing here at MMS this afternoon. Enjoy the sunshine and support our team for the final tournament

Well, I am guessing it is a scientific term because Mrs. Gage and Mrs. Remington keep saying it.
For now, they are the only ones who know what it means.

If you want to be a class officer next year at MHS, please pick up a petition form in the office. Your petitions MUST be signed and turned in by Weds., May 6th.
The 3rd Annual “Sisters in Heaven” Memorial 5K Run/Walk for Ashton Braden and Sofia Moore will take place tomorrow!!!!! Sat The race begins and ends at Purple Sage Elementary.
Get your registration forms in the office. All funds raised will benefit Purple Sage Elementary.
The District tennis tournament is tomorrow. The bus leaves at 7:15 am. They will be playing at Jefferson and Sage Valley. Good Luck!
MMS will also be hosting a tennis tournament on Monday for B and C teams!
